This is a 28mm scale kit depicting gravestones modeled after cemeteries typical of the French Normandy region, with a focus on war games set in the battle for the Bocage Country in 1944.  While its focus is devoted to World War II, it could be a stand in for any cemetery in the western world spanning the past few hundred years, and could just as easily be a graveyard in New England or the setting for a gothic horror game.

Created in engaved 3mm or 1/8″ baltic birch plywood, this kit contains a variety of plinths and low mausoleums typical of cemeteries in Northwest Europe, particularly representing Normandy.  There are 40 unique gravestones each tabbed in such a way as to fit the different stands, plinths and tombs providing a wide variety of possible combinations.  Each stone, and some of the details are engraved with detailed imagery and names befitting a graveyard of the era and region.

Please note, the names and dates on the graves are created absolutely randomly, and in no way are drawn from actual gravestones. The model requires assembly and comes unpainted.
