These are strips of card stock shingles meant to make detailing the rooftops of your miniature buildings quick and easy. Simply glue a strip along the bottom of your roof and continue up the roof until it is covered. There are 32 strips to a square foot before application. The overlap of the shingle strips will reduce the vertical distance covered by the strips, depending on how much shingle you leave exposed under the strip above it.
They measure 12 inches long and the exposed part of each shingle is approximately a centimeter square. They accept the usual paint and painting techniques and tolerate washes and dry brushing well.
