This is a 28mm scale model of a two wheeled ox cart. It comes with two sets of wheels, either the slab, disc wheels or the spoked wagon wheels. It also comes with 4 optional hoops for draping a canvas cover over (made with tissues soaked is dilluted white PVA or wood glue). The pictures show the various assembly options for this kit.

We have them identified as Fantasy, because while they are similar to many historical ox carts, they are not in fact modeled from any particular ox cart. We do not feel comfortable selling them as historical, even though at your discretion they may well apply as historical models too, covering a period from the late Roman Empire on through the remote regions of the world in the 21st Century.

The oxen are not included, but can be purchased easily online. They are the oxen (you receive 4 per kit) from the 1/48 scale California Mission Indians model kit from Pegasus Hobbies, and are readily available from many online and local hobby shops around the world. The carts should also work well with any other available horse and oxen miniatures from many manufacturers.

It is quick to assemble and easy to paint and come with everything you need to assemble the models pictured except for the glue and oxen.
